Arthurs Pic topped the leader board in the 1st GP2 session of the Italian GP weekend with ART Grand Prix’s Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren junior) in 2nd and current championship leader Jolyon Palmer of DAMS 3rd fastest.

Also of note: Red Bull junior Peirre Gasly switched over from WSR to GP2 with Caterham EQ8 Racing.
